Recently Forbes released the top ten richest people in the world in 2021 which positioned Jeff Bezos , a businessman from the technology sector, with the most total wealth, US $ 177 billion.
Bezos is not the only technology sector businessman on the list of the 10 richest people in the world in 2021, there are six other figures who are in this sector. Here's the list:
1. Jeff Bezos US $ 177 Billion
Jeff Bezos is an entrepreneur who co-founded the technology company Amazon. His business is fairly successful and is now the richest person in the world according to Forbes.
On July 16, 1995, Bezos founded Amazon.com after the name of a river in South America. He started his business in the garage of the house and was assisted by several colleagues.
The site was founded with a pilot project selling books. Within 30 days the book was sold throughout the United States and 45 countries.
On February 3, 2021, he officially announced his resignation as CEO of Amazon, a company he raised for 27 years.
Even though he is no longer the CEO at Amazone. Now he is focusing on several of his companies, namely the Day 1 Fund, Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, and The Washington Post.
2. Elon Musk US $ 151 Billion
Elon Musk is the majority shareholder of Tesla and is a co-founder. He founded Tesla in February 2004.
Not only serving as CEO at Tesla, he also founded a space company called SpaceX in June 2002. Now SpaceX is active in various space projects, one of which is with NASA.

4. Mark Zuckerberg US $ 97 Billion
Mark Zuckerberg is known as one of the founders of the largest social media platform, Facebook, which was founded in 2004. He co-founded Facebook with several friends while a student at Harvard University.
